Windwood Equestrian was the perfect setting for this romantic, outdoor spring wedding. The ceremony was filled with elements that were close to the bride’s heart — her love for gorgeous florals, vivid colors and natural beauty. A vintage antebellum mantel boasted an asymmetrical floral design filled with lush greenery, bright florals and served as the backdrop for this lovely, natural ceremony scene. Hydrangeas, Pink O’Hara Garden Roses and David Austin Juliet Garden Roses were some of the bride’s favorites that accented her bouquet and decorated the ceremony space.

After the opulent, outdoor ceremony guests were whisked away to the intimate reception where they found more family heirlooms from both the couple’s families tied into their wedding decor. Vintage English china place settings along with bold blue and clear crystal glasses sat atop the white patterned linen that graced the ornate, flowing tablescape.

Bold florals commanded a strong presence in this vibrant tablescape that included hydrangeas, blue and mini green roses, David Juliet Garden Roses, electric blue delphinium, peach and yellow eremurus, along with mixed seasonal ferns and other greens. Some height and dimension were added to the lovely arrangement with large ivory pillar candles sitting atop a nola candelabra. Ivory taper candles were interspersed throughout in their romance and pink candlesticks, adding even more ambience.

The bride wore a Lazaro bridal gown crafted with ivory Chantilly lace. A mermaid style, and layered with a stunning Alencon lace appliqué, the gown had a strapless sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder cap sleeve, elongated torso and a circular tulle overlay with lace appliqué and bands of horsehair, along with a chapel train.

The bride’s luscious blueberry lemon cake held a bold presence in the room with strong hues of white and blue. Filled with a blueberry fruit puree and topped with lemon buttercream frosting, it was covered in white fondant and decorated with Wedgewood Blue royal icing stenciling and fresh florals. Hydrangeas, blue and mini green roses, electric blue delphinium and peach and yellow eremurus dotted the space, along with a mix of seasonal ferns.
